Okine re-elected General Secretary of the PSWU

Accra, Dec. 17, GNA - Mr. Tommy Okine has been -re-elected the General Secretary of the Public Service Workers Union (PSWU) of the Ghana Trades Union Congress.

He was re-elected at the PSWU's 7th Quadrennial Delegates Conference held in Kumasi last week at which other national officers were also elected and installed.

Richard Amparbeng of the National Secretariat of the PSWU was elected the Deputy General Secretary whilst Georgina Opoku Amankwah of the National Commission for Civic Education, Kumasi and J.N. Owuo of the Regional House of Chiefs, Dodowa were elected National Chairperson and National Vice Chairperson respectively. Mr Santos Beyogleh of the Building and Road Research Institute, Kumasi and Fati Seidu Tambro of the Controller and Accountant General Department, Wa were elected National Trustees.
