Over 20 years of championing healthy eating habits in Ghana; The Eden Tree Factor

Over the past 20 years, Eden Tree, a leading producer and distributor of high-end fresh vegetables, fruits and herbs in Ghana has promoted healthy eating habits in the country by producing, packaging, and supplying high-quality vegetables, fruits, herbs, and ready to eat packaged fruits, salad and fresh fruit juice to the Ghanaian market.

Since its inception in 1997, the company has grown products with both consumer’s health, safety and environmental sustainability in mind. With its purchase of over 30 tons of monthly produce from farmers, Eden Tree has supported over 150 smallholder farmers in overcoming technical and commercial barriers in the course of their operations

Ms Krobo Edusei further added “With a fast-growing economy and a rising middle-income class, the already rising demand for healthy food in Ghana will pick up rapidly and at Eden Tree, we do not see this growing demand as a simple opportunity for doing business. But rather a unique responsibility to help build a nation with healthier people; as Ghana transitions from a developing to a truly emerging country”.
