Accra, Oct. 7, GNA - Handsome gains by Patterson Zochonis and Guinness Ghana Breweries Limited lifted the Accra bourse on Friday. The GSE-All Share Index, the benchmark measure, climbed by 4.0 points to end the week at 4,886.42 points from Thursday's 4,882.42 points.
Change for the year-to-date went up to -28.13 per cent from -28.18 per cent.
Guinness Ghana Brewery Limited gained 40 cedis at 7,400 cedis, Fan Milk Limited was three cedis better at 15,615 cedis, Enterprise Insurance Limited inched up by one cedi 6,208 cedis, Patterson Zochonis made 92 cedis at 6,500 cedis and British American Tobacco gained 20 cedis at 3,020 cedis.
Traded shares were slightly poorer at 66,800 from 75,900on Thursday.
Market capitalisation improved at 92,154.82 billion cedis.
