Payment of February Salaries To Be Delayed

The Controller and Accountant – General’s Department says payment of salaries for all Public Sector Workers who receive their salaries through the Government of Ghana Mechanized payroll would be delayed for a week.

Payment of February salaries were supposed to start from February 21 but would now begin February 29. An official statement issued in Accra and copied to the Ghana News Agency (GNA) on Wednesday said the delay was due to some technical challenges the department encountered during the February payroll process.

“We deeply regret any inconveniences the delay might cause all the cherished clients and the general public,” the statement said.
