Petrol and Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) prices are expected to fall in the next fuel pricing window, while diesel prices could record a slight increase, according to the Chamber of Oil Marketing Companies (COMAC).

COMAC projects that petrol prices could decrease by between 1.50% and 2.90%.

The chamber also expects LPG prices to decline by between 0.21% and 0.93%.

However, diesel prices are projected to move in the opposite direction, with an expected increase of between 0.65% and 1.39%.

The projected decline in petrol prices could provide some relief to motorists if the reductions are reflected at fuel stations.

LPG consumers could also benefit from the expected reduction, although the projected decline is smaller compared with petrol.

Consumers will have to wait for the official prices announced by Oil Marketing Companies to determine the actual changes at fuel stations in the next pricing window.
