Marketing and Corporate Communications Manager for Polytank Ghana, Dickson Tetteh, has reaffirmed the company’s position as the country’s leading name in product innovation, sustainability, and process efficiency.

Speaking in an interview with GhanaWeb on the sidelines of the 2025 Africa Best Business Awards on November 7, 2025, Tetteh highlighted Polytank’s long-standing leadership in water storage manufacturing and unveiled new initiatives demonstrating the company’s commitment to environmental responsibility and technological advancement.

“We are the first and leading water storage manufacturer in the country. When you’re looking for the most reliable water storage, you can always rely on Polytank,” he said.

He also announced the launch of the company’s bottle-to-bottle recycling plant, part of its broader sustainability initiative called the SARA rPET Project, aimed at reducing plastic waste and promoting circular economy practices.

“We recognise our role in sustainability. The SARA rPET Project ensures that post-consumer PET bottles are recycled back into the system to protect the environment, create jobs, and empower young people,” Tetteh explained.

Beyond its well-known Rambo and Hippo brands, Tetteh disclosed that Polytank has recently introduced Sumo and Sumo Super, two premium-quality water storage solutions designed to meet evolving customer needs.

“Being the most innovative and leading in the industry means that we continue to lead not only in terms of products but also in processes and sustainability,” he noted.

Polytank Ghana, a subsidiary of the Mohinani Group, continues to expand its operations in both Ghana and Nigeria, focusing on innovative solutions that balance industrial growth with environmental stewardship.

Meanwhile, the 2025 edition of the Africa Best Business Awards (ABBA) honoured more than 30 of the continent’s most innovative and resilient companies and entrepreneurs for their contributions to Africa’s economic transformation.

Held under the theme “Honouring Business Brilliance, Shaping Africa's Future,” the ceremony celebrated excellence in innovation, sustainability, ethical leadership, and cross-border impact.
