Prudential Bank launches ATM service

Tema, April 22, GNA -- The Prudential Bank Limited (PBL) on Tuesday introduced its electronic banking (e-banking) systems with the launch of the Automated Teller Machine (ATM) in eight of its 13 branches throughout the country.

The eight branches are at Ring Road Central, Madina, Spintex, Adum, Weija, Swanzy Shopping Arcade, Abossey Okai and Tema. Mr Joseph Okine Afranie, PBL's Deputy Managing Director in charge of Finance and Credit Administration, said the ATM service was part of the bank's strategy in modernizing its traditional banking activities.

Mr Afranie said plans were underway to introduce other e-banking products including SMS banking, Internet banking, points of sales and credit cards.
