President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has been asked to produce the list of all 21 Mahama appointee's who are under prosecution.
If you may recall, the President on September 9 during the 2019 Ghana Bar Association Conference said: "so far, 21 officials of the previous administration are standing trial over their involvement in alleged acts of corruption or causing financial loss to the state, amounting collectively to the tune of some GHC772million. Their trials are being conducted in the normal manner with the safeguards that the law affords all accused persons so that due process is respected. The court will at the appropriate moment deliver their verdict."
Speaking to this, a member of the Communication team of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Brogya Genfi said the number of appointees of the former administration being prosecuted are not up to 21.
"The President said 21 former government officials are in court . . . if you subject it to fact check it's not even correct. Officials of the former administration in court are not up to 21 so I challenge the NPP to publish the names so that we know," he intimated on Peace FM's morning show 'Kokrokoo'.
