Race course redevelopment project to be completed in 3 months - KMA

The Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA) has assured traders in Kumasi that the redevelopment of Race Course market will be completed within three (3) months.

Traders in Kumasi have complained bitterly about the unpleasant nature of the race course market.

Nsuom, where most of these traders ply their trade is devoid of a drainage system thus rendering the place waterlogged and discouraging prospective buyers from patronising their products.

However, the Presiding Member for KMA Abraham Boadi speaking in an interview with Abusua Dawuro’s Nana Ama Annor said efforts have been made by the assembly to construct drainage systems to make the place habitable.

Mr Boadi said KMA will not do anything that will collapse the business of the traders assuring that proper measures have been put in place to develop race course market for the traders.
