Railway workers strike

The Ghana Railway Workers Union on Thursday September 15 embarked on an industrial action over unpaid salaries and generally poor working conditions.

The workers suspended their strike on Monday, September 12, pending an outcome of a meeting with the National Labour Commission on Wednesday September 14.

The workers, however, had warned they would be forced to embark on the industrial action if the outcome of the meeting was not favourable.
