Project managers of Ghana’s Oil and Gas and Construction sectors would now have the opportunity to reduce cost of controlling and managing documents from the inception to the final stages of construction by 30 per cent.
This is being made possible following a landmark partnership between Resourcery Plc and Assai Software Services, which seeks to provide top-of-the-range document control and management software for businesses.
The software will enable both clients and contractors to share designs, review documents, monitor activities at each stage of the construction process, and issue instructions on project implementation from the comfort of their offices and at the click of a button.
Mr. Olugbengah Adejuwon, Senior Consultant, Assai Software Services, disclosed these to journalists after a seminar held in Accra on Monday, to introduce the new system to potential clients.
He said the move was a confirmation of the company's quest to provide business solutions aimed at enhancing business processes of its customers.
The collaboration, Mr Adejuwon said, would provide Assai the opportunity to tap into the Ghanaian market through the knowledge and expertise of Resourcery in the implementation of projects in the country.
“Assai Software Services is truly delighted to combine our document control and document management expertise with Resourcery’s implementation abilities, especially in a market as big as that of Ghana. While our services suit the Ghanaian Oil and Gas sector the more, it also encompasses other areas like construction and engineering,” he said.
Mr. Adejuwon said documentation, the recording of organisational structures, policies, actions, and goals, were vital to any business, especially those executing big projects.
The system, he said would bring immense benefits to potential customers and urged organisations to patronise it.
Mr. Ekow Thompson, Country Manager, Resourcery, said the system would allow clients to monitor projects right from inception to completion.
He said there was the need to provide the Oil and Gas sector of the economy with dedicated document control and document management software that would not only enhance their processes, but give them a high level of control over their vital documents.
Mr Thompson assured clients of high level security when hooked onto the software.**
