Tema, Oct 20, GNA - SAMBAO Ghana Pharmaceutical Company, manufacturers of intravenous infusion solution, is considering exporting its products to neighbouring countries.
The Superintendent Pharmacist of the Company, Henry Odai, said the company would also go into the manufacturing of syrups and other drugs including capsules.
He said this when the Tema Municipal Chief Executive, Mr Evans Ashong Narh, visited the company to acquaint himself with operations of the company.
Naa Afiyie Ashong, the Member of Parliament for Kpone Katamanso, and some assembly members accompanied him.
SAMBAO Ghana Pharmaceuticals, Chinese Company situated at Kpone in Tema, was established in 1998 and produces over 700,000 infusions supply a day.
Mr Odai said the company imports all its raw materials bit are liasing with some local rubber companies who could supply it with plastic bags.
Mr Ashong Narh said the government always welcomes those who invest in the country and would always ensure that the necessary environment is created to promote good business activities in the country. "We also want competition which brings in more products at cheap prices", he said.
