SIC pays C260m cedis insurance claims to two clients

Techiman (B/A), June 9, GNA - The State Insurance Company of Ghana Limited (SIC) in Brong Ahafo on Wednesday paid a total of 260 million cedis in insurance claims to two clients at Techiman whose vehicles were damaged in accidents early this year.

Mr Ivan Avereyireh, Regional Manager, presented 130 million cedis each in cheques to Ghana Nuts Limited, an exporting firm and Mr Jowel Ankomah, a businessman. He said the claims followed successful negotiations between the SIC and the clients and advised the public to seek the services of the company in negotiating their claims.

Mr Obed Asante, Manager, Ghana Nuts Limited and Mr. Ankomah thanked the company for its positive response to their plight and expressed the hope that their relationship with SIC would flourish.
