SIC pays insurance claims

State Insurance Company (SIC) has presented a cheque of 444.1 million cedis as insurance claims to the Ghana Manganese Company (GMC) for losing its crawlr drill machine through a fire outbreak.

Presenting the cheque at a ceremony at Nsuta-Wassa, Mr John Aggrey Fynn, Tarkwa branch Manager of SIC, commended the company for joining the SIC insurance scheme.

He advised individuals and organisations to join the scheme adding that the Insurance Company would not fail its clients because "our promises are sacred."

Mr Gunter Hanke, Executive Manager of GMC thanked SIC for honouring its promise, which he said, would strengthen the business relationship between the company and SIC.
