The lucky winners
Samsung Electronics West Africa, has rewarded three lucky winners of its Galaxy S6 Avengers Challenge, with its latest smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy S6.
The Galaxy S6 Avengers competition required participants to take “selfies” with posters of four key characters of the movie “Avengers: Age of Ultron” which had been strategically placed in four of Samsung’s Experience shops in Accra.
The three lucky winners, out of six finalists, were announced on Samsung’s Facebook page (Samsung Mobile Ghana), at the end of voting, and were presented with their prizes at a short ceremony at the Accra Mall.
A statement by the company and copied to the Ghana News Agency, said the competition started on June 1, and saw numerous entries from smartphone and science fiction enthusiasts, who entered several photos in the hope of winning the Galaxy S6 device.
"Out of almost three thousand votes cast for the six finalists, the three winners, Sebastian Don Carlos, amassed a total of 915 votes, followed by Alhassan Ibrahim, 449 votes, and Alexander Ansah-Antwi with 408 votes," it said.
The company said the Samsung Galaxy S6 remained available with a 24-month warranty at all authorized Samsung shops nationwide.
