The largest and most premium Samsung showroom in Africa has opened in Accra to display the widest range of Samsung products and to enhance customer experience.

The showroom located off the Ring Road Central directly opposite Bus stop restaurant and next to Paloma hotel is said to give customers the luxury to feel and experience every feature on any item they intend to purchase at the showroom.

The showroom is part of the many measures Samsung and Electroland sole distributor of Samsung products in Africa are putting in place to expand the Samsung business and up their market share in the tech and electronic space in the region. Already the leading brand in the industry, Samsung is hoping to improve customer service and give their clients value for money.

Being the biggest showroom in Africa in terms of space and features the edifice will serve as the head office for Samsung in Africa and will house the sales, account, service and cooperate business department.

Economy

Speaking to the Managing Director of Electroland Ghana Limited, Mr. Nour Seklawi stated that they chose to situate the head office in Ghana because the country is more peaceful and the economy is stable so it makes business sense to do that here.

“Ghana is the most stable economy as much as there are other places like Ivory Coast with a big economy which stable and Nigeria with a big economy but not stable at the moment we believe that Ghana deserves to be the hub for the region because it a very stable and peaceful… the last election was a very good example for that, so it’s about looking for security and a market that can appreciate new technology” he said.

He further stated that the Ghanaian consumer does a lot of reach before they buy their product so as a business Samsung is happy to serve and show Ghanaians this new ultramodern showroom.

He added that indeed business in 2016 was challenging due to elections, cash flow other factors but Samsung kept its market share. He stated that they are optimistic that with the new government new opportunities will pop up and business will start growing again

Competition

According to Mr. Nour Seklawi the showroom has migrated the Samsung business to a whole new level and none of their competitors currently have been able to achieve what they have built.

“With all respect to other competitors we have gone to a different level and I don’t think any of the competitors as of today have anything that competes with this showroom. We are ready to improve as soon as they improve, if they get to this level we are leaders so we will be in a different level by then” he stated.

Conclusion

The grand launch of the showroom is scheduled for January 2017 and for the Christmas celebration clients who visit the premium showroom get extra 5% discount on any product they buy aside they nationwide promotion Samsung is running.
