Hull City in partnership with Ship Owners and Agents Association of Ghana has organised fun games for some shipping lines in the country.
The games were geared toward strengthening the bond between the shipping lines and also exchanging ideas so as to improve service delivery in the maritime industry.
The games included soccer, sack race and volley ball. There was a free health screening exercise for participants.
Meridian Port Services emerged winners of the soccer and volley ball competition while Sharaff shipping came second for the soccer and Grimaldi took second position for the Volley ball.
Intermodals came first in the sack race while PIL came second.
Chris Tamakloe, one of the organizers of the event said the games will make staff healthy and assured clients that shipping lines are in a position to deliver efficient services to those who require them.
