Accra, April 1, GNA - Significant losses in three equities accelerated the slide of the Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE) whuch has been under heavy bearish sentiments since the beginning of the year. Trust Bank of The Gambia lost a whopping 3,100 cedis at 27,900 cedis, HFC Bank lost 860 cedis at 7,740 cedis and Clydestone was down by 100 cedis at 1,200 cedis.
The GSE All-Share Index ended lower by 63.46 points at 6,390.38 points while the change for the year went deeper into the red at 6.00 per cent.
In the broader market, three other equities made gains. Starwin Products Limited made the biggest gain closing 50 cedis to end at 750 cedis, PZ made 40 cedis to close at 5,750 cedis and CFAO edged up 20 cedis to finish at 275 cedis.
Market capitalisation was down at 96,501.63 billion cedis from 96,674.86 billion cedis.
