Societe Generale Ghana Bank has launched a promotion dubbed, “Aben Wo Ha” to motivate and to promote the culture of saving among Ghanaians and its customers.
Launching the promo in Accra Friday, Deputy Managing Director of the bank, Francois Marchal discloses that, the 'Aben Wo Ha' promo is among strategies the bank has adopted in order to keep old customers and to woo new ones.
“Our aim is to inspire the culture of saving in our customers, supporting them as they save towards a strong financial future,” Mr. Marchal notes.
According to him, the promo is part of efforts of the bank to make banking fun for its customers and to appreciate them for choosing Societe Generale over the numerous banks across the country.
“With this promotion, we aim to give customers a strong incentive to save their money with SG Ghana, and to attract new customers who want to save with a modern, world-class bank that rewards its customers in fun, innovative ways,” he stresses.
The ‘Aben Wo Ha’, Mr. Marchal says, is “the biggest and most exciting promotion the bank has offered in a long time”, therefore, customers must grab the opportunity and grow their balances as they stand the chance of winning exciting prizes.
About the ‘Aben Wo Ha’ promo
Inasmuch as the promo aims at encouraging clients to save money toward the future and emergencies, Head of Marketing Analytics of Societe General Ghana, Frederick Addy says customers also stand the chance of winning fantastic prizes.
He says, six final winners will be awarded a brand new Suzuki Beleno car each as well as many other wonderful prize to be given out.
To qualify for the promo, Mr. Addy said, both new and old customers must make fresh deposits either in cash, cheque, transfer from other bank accounts or receive money remittance and deposit it in their SG Ghana current or savings accounts.
“They have to deposit a minimum of GHC200 and grow the deposit to GHC1,000 and above between 14th August, 2017 and 31st December, 2017 and keep the account until 31st January, 2018,” he explains.
He says, customers increase their chances of winning when they make more deposits.
“After each deposit, the customer has to fill in the ‘Aben Wo Ha’ form to indicate their participation in the promotion. With this, a hold will be placed on the deposited amount until 31st Janury, 2018,” he reiterates.
Prizes
More than sixty lucky winners will be rewarded in the mini and final draw of the promo.
The mini draw will be held in December 2017 where sixty winners will receive variety of items including Samsung Galaxy S8+, Samsung 40” Full HD Flat Smart TV, 32” and 24” television sets, Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime and mobile airtimes worth GHC100.
The final draw, which seeks to reward six winners a Suzuki Baleno car each is scheduled for February 2018.
Customers and the general public are, therefore, encouraged to walk into any of the Societe Generale banks across the country and contest in the promo to stand the chance of winning big.
