Accra, Aug. 18, GNA - Another sterling performance by equities on the bourse lifted the GSE-All Share Index, the key gauge up 73.78 points in Wednesday trading that saw six price appreciations. The index rallied to close 7,464.71 points up from Monday's close of 7,390.93 points.
The change year to date now stands at 110.07 per cent. Total shares traded were higher at 263,100 up from a low of 51,600 recorded on Monday.
Market capitalisation ended higher at 98,140.86 billion cedis from 97,950.93 billion cedis from 3,38.89 million issued shares.
On the broader market, there were six positive price changes. Stanchart gained 10,000 cedis at 160,000 cedis; Enterprise Insurance was up 400 cedis at 4,400 cedis, Pattersson Zochonis went up 85 cedis at 4,100 cedis.
Other gainers were Fan Milk, which gained one cedi at 9,502 cedis, Clydstone was richer by three cedis at 1,605 cedis and Accra Brewery Limited went up five cedis at 1,465 cedis.
