Accra, June 18, GNA - The main index of the Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE) slumped again in trading on Thursday on the back of losses by Ecobank Transnational Incorporated and CAL Bank Limited. The main benchmark GSE All-Share index lost 62.22 points at 5,961.75 points from 6,023.95 points. Change for the year to date is -42.85 per cent. Traded volumes went up from 59,800 on Wednesday to 226,100 while market capitalisation fell at GH¢15,510.80 million from GH¢15,599.70 million. On the broader market, there were two price changes, both negative. CAL Bank lost another GH¢0.01 at GH¢0.25 while Ecobank Transnational Inc. also lost GH¢0.01 at GH¢0.18.
