Accra, Oct. 18, GNA - The Accra bourse slipped in trading on Wednesday on losses incurred by Bonso Oil Palm Plantation (BOPP) and British American Tobacco (BAT).
The GSE All-Share Index lost 9.39 points to close trading on 6,992.76 points from 7,002.06 points during the previous trading on Monday.
Change for the year was lower at 96.79 per cent.
BOPP was down by 500 cedis at 10,000 cedis and BAT lost 100 cedis at 7,700 cedis. The only gainer was Mobil Oil Ghana Limited, which inched up by one cedi at 38,002 cedis.
Total number of shares that changed hands ended higher at 134,200 cedis from lower at 57,500 cedis. Market capitalisation closed lower at 97,184.37 billion cedis from 97,208.68 billion cedis from 3,425.70 million issued shares.
