Accra, Nov. 8, GNA - There was brisk trading on the Accra bourse on Thursday when Ayrton Drug Manufacturing Ltd sold 3,348,800 shares out of a total of 3,414,500 shares traded.
The GSE All-Share Index, the benchmark measure, went up by 0.24 points at 5,850.30 from Wednesday's 5,850.06. Change year to date was 16.87 per cent.
On the broader market, there were three price changes, all positive.
Ayrton Drug Manufacturing Ltd gained GH=A2 0.0002 to close trading at GH=A2 0.0978; Ecobank Ghana also gained GH=A2 0.0002 at GH=A2 1.6525, while Guinness Ghana Breweries Limited was the highest gainer going up by GH=A2 0.0004 to close at GH=A2 1.2110. Market capitalisation was up at GH=A2 11,855.86 million from GH=A2 11,855.71 million on Wednesday.
