TT Brothers donates to SOS Village

Tema, Apr. 14, GNA - The local agents for Parlmalat Pure Joy, an Italian-based company, T.T. Brothers, on Monday, donated food items worth GH¢1,000 to the SOS Children Village at Tema.

The items include 15 bags of rice, a quantity of cooking oil and biscuits. The Company also held an Easter party for the children. Mr Isaac Tetteh, Chief Executive Officer of T.T. Brothers, who made the donation on behalf of the company said the gifts formed part of a five-year agreement signed between his company and the Village. He said it was also the policy of the company to assist the needy in the communities in which it operated.

Mr Tetteh expressed the hope that the donation would go a long way to motivate the children to take their studies seriously. Mr Isaac Ackon, Director of the Village, who received the items, thanked the company for the support and called on other corporate bodies and institutions to come to the aid of the Village 14 April 09
