The Minister of Finance Seth Terkper, is leading a Government delegation to the IMF/World Bank Spring Meetings in Washington DC.
The delegation is made up of officials from the Bank of Ghana including the Governor, the Chairman of the Finance Committee in Parliament and officers from the Finance Ministry.
The delegation will also attend Global FM Symposium which is being organized by Stanchart in the United Kingdom before going to Washington.
At the Spring Meetings, the delegation would participate in seminars on the Evolving role of the Fiscal Policy, High Level Ministerial Dialogue on Natural Capital Accounting, High-level Seminar on Review of the IMF’s policy on debt limits in IMF-supported programs among others.
The delegation would also meet with the World Bank Vice President and attend the African Development Bank Roundtable on “Infrastructure Financing in Africa”.
The delegation will also hold bilateral discussions with other partner countries, financial institutions, private investors, and Global Civil Society Organizations (CSOs).
