The Third Edition of the Ghana Economic Outlook and Business Strategy Conference (EOBS), will be held on January 21 in Accra, on the theme: “Diversifying Ghana’s Economy Through Sustained Export Trade.”

The annual conference is expected to provide participants with the latest statistical trends in export that can affect business planning.

It will provide a platform for the exchange and discussing of accurate and relevant data on exports, as well as exchange and discussion of ideas and strategies between government and other stakeholders, on the role of increased exports in sustaining economic growth.

The business conference also aims at increasing the understanding of current and prospective central bank policies concerning exchange rate management, interest rates, foreign currency availability, the Cedi’s appreciation and the resulting implications for export trade in Ghana.

The EOBS conference is supported jointly by the Presidency, the Ministry of Trade and Industry, the Ghana Free Zones Board, Ghana Investment Promotion Agency, the Association of Ghana Industries, the Federation of Ghanaian Exporters, and a number of private sector organizations and companies.

The Vice President, Kwesi Amissah-Arthur, as well as Ministers of State, Heads of State Institutions, Foreign and Local Investors, Heads of Bilateral and Multilateral Support Agencies, and key players in Ghana’s economy, will be in attendance.

The Ghana Economic Outlook and Business Strategy Conference was initiated in 2012 by the Africa Business Media, to convene key players in Ghana’s economy for dialogue and exchange of ideas.
