As part of its on-going Super Play Promotion, Millicom Ghana, operators of the Tigo network, have so far given a total of GH¢120,000 and about 50 Blackberry phones to its subscribers who emerged winners during the monthly draws.
The promotion, which runs from June 17 to September 30, 2012 for all postpaid and prepaid subscribers, is a text and win promotion to drive the usage of the Tigo Game Zone service that requires subscribers to text Tigo to 2020, answer questions, gain points and win various prizes.
At the second monthly prize presentation of the promotion, Linda Afua Asantewaa, Media and Advertising Manager at Tigo said “in rewarding our customers with daily and weekly cash amounts of GH¢500 and GH¢1,000 together with Blackberry handsets as well as a monthly cash prize of GH¢20,000, Tigo is creating value and delivering via quality network services.”
She said GH¢200,000 is the monthly prize given to subscribers who accumulate the highest points at the end of the month.
The ultimate prize is GH¢100,000 to be won by participant who accumulate the highest number of points from the beginning to the end of the promotion.
She noted that “following the maiden draw, data shows increasing numbers of subscribers taking part in the promotion, a clear indication of customers’ adherence to the value of the brand, an appreciation of our best practice of continuous innovation and value for money.”
