Tigo expands operations in the country

Tarkwa, Sept 14, GNA - The operators of Tigo network has programmed to expand its network in Ghana this year to provide sufficient capacity to serve its customers better.

Mr Mark Procter, Chief Operating Officer of, Tigo said this at the opening of a new Tigo office at Tarkwa on Wednesday. He said with 200 new cards sold in one hour at Tarkwa, there were indications that the company would do good business in the area. Mr Procter said his company has set up offices in all the regions and engineers have been attached to all the offices to ensure that there is sturdy operation.

The company has also opened offices in all the district capitals. 14 Sept 06
