Tigo, a telecommunication company, is holding a three- day digital fair to enable customers and members of the public to learn new ways of using their smart phones and to get much more from their mobile phones.
The fair, being held in partnership with Microsoft, Samsung and Jumia, among others, would also undertake digital classes for students and members of the public.
It is running from May 6 to May 8.
Students of Kinbu Secondary Technical School, who were present at the fair, were taken through training in effective online research and other courses.
Speaking at the opening of the fair, the Head of Customer Operations for Tigo Ghana, Mr Stephen Essien, said the company remains committed to offer improved customer care and all customer touch points are reflective of the company’s digital lifestyle agenda.
He said it is in this direction that management of Tigo has been increasing the number of its customer experience centres in line with Tigo’s agenda of a digital mobile company of choice.
Mr Essien said the fair would give opportunity to members of the public to enhance their knowledge of how to access many services via their smart mobile handsets.
