Odotobri Rural Bank donates to community

As part of the bank’s corporate social responsibilities, the Board and Management of Odotobri Rural Bank, Limited have once again responded swiftly and in kind to three special appeals placed by some public institutions within the bank’s catchment area in the Ashanti Region.

For their benefit, the Asawasi District Police Headquarters received a Cannon desktop photocopier and printer worth GH¢ 3,000.00 to augment administrative functions at their outfit.

Receiving the donation on behalf of the District Command, Crimes Officer DSP Francis Mambisi expressed gratitude to the Board and Management of the bank for the kind gesture; he pledged the command’s readiness to put the electronic gadget to good use and maintenance.

The Abuakwaa Health Station serving a hub of surrounding towns and villages some twenty kilometers away from Jacobu received a set of 220V power generator at the cost of GH¢ 3,300.

Representing the Amansie Central District Health Director, the Deputy Director in charge of Nursing Services, Nancy Akrong reiterated the need for their request knowing the bank would live up to its reputation as socially responsible company.

She mentioned that the coming of the generator was timely per the time of the request and shall go a long way in aiding effective health delivery in the community as the town is yet to be connected onto the national grid.

As part of the banks upcoming 60th Anniversary Celebrations to be held February 8, the bank once again extended its kind gesture to the headmaster and students of Bekwai SDA Senior High School by donating two sets of 32’ flat screen Samsung LED Satellite television costing GH¢ 2,000.00.

The items were received by the headmaster Mr. George Oduro Yeboah in the presence of his two assistants and some members of staff.

All the presentation were done by the Chief Executive Officer, Mr. S.B. Ahmed in the company of the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Bernard Asamoah Boateng; the Marketing Manager, Mr. Issaka Rasheed and the Assistant Marketing Officer, Kwasi Mensah.
