Tonaton.com, Ghana’s largest online marketplace has launched an initiative to assist members of the public who are not IT savvy and do not have ready access to internet or a computer to enjoy the benefits of online advertising.

The Tonaton Sell Fast service is an easy way to sell items by posting their advertisements on tonaton.com through its designated agents called ‘Sell Fast’ agents.

Launched in March 2018, the ‘Sell fast’ service has commenced with 20 agents in Accra and its suburbs.

Marketing Manager of Tonaton.com, Joel Lamptey who was speaking about the new service says, “Members of the public with a need to post their ads on Tonaton.com and unable to do so due to a lack of computer skills or access to internet connectivity, can easily locate a Tonaton‘Sell Fast’ appointed agent outlet through their prominently displayed ‘Sell Fast’ signage. By this initiative we are extending the brand’s footprints to engage many more communities in Ghana”.

Sell Fast agents are also located within easy access for customers. Popular towns such as Tema, Madina, Adenta, Kasoa and Accra have a number of agents with other regions within the country also coming on board soon to provide this service.

“The internet can be intimidating for those not used to it. The Tonaton ‘Sell Fast’ agents are capable of reaching out and assisting customers who need help in placing advertisements on the Tonaton website thus helping customers interact with us. Our goal is to provide a platform that makes advertising easy and accessible for customers, individuals and businesses alike,” saysZubairRiaz, Managing Director, Tonaton.com

Through ‘Sell Fast’, agents provide customers access to Tonaton.com to sell almost anything, thus enabling the non-savvy IT community to make use of Ghana’s most popular online platform to sell items and make money, or even start a small business.
