Total launches new fuel

Accra, Sept. 11, GNA - Total Petroleum Ghana Limited (TPGL), on Friday introduced a new fuel called Total Quartz 4x4 to serve the needs of cross country vehicles in Accra.

Total Quartz 4x4 fuel, which is specially designed for four wheel drive vehicles, is high performance engine oil developed with robust additives to withstand extreme conditions of use including dusty conditions, rugged terrain, intense urban traffic and desert drive. It is being produced under franchise at Tema Lube Oil Company Limited, a lubricating oil blending plant. Mr Alexis Thelemaque, Marketing Manager of company said the introduction of the fuel, which price was relatively low, was to assure customers that the TPGL was committed to delivering quality products at affordable prices.

He said technological advancement had made consumers to be very sophisticated and thereby looking out for the best in products and services, a condition that the company was working to satisfy. Mr Thelemaque assured four wheel drive vehicle owners that the fuel was the "answer to the modern day cross country vehicle owner, who is not only looking for a smooth ride, but also wants to ensure that the investment is very well protected."

The Total Quartz 4x4 fuel is the second product the company had introduced in less than a year to the transport industry in the country. The other is the Total Effimax. 11 Sept. 09
