Toyota Ghana Company Limited, over the weekend launched the new generation of Corolla in Accra onto the Ghanaian automobile market.
The new generation Toyota Corolla has a DVD player, rain sensor, information meter, reserve camera and Bluetooth to meet customers’ specification.
Mr Tetsuya Suematsu, Managing Director of Toyota Ghana Limited, said the new Corolla has gone through a journey, symbolising innovation and evolution since 1966.
He said the new Corollas design concept phrase is A Happy Corolla for Our Environment because attention has been given to love, respect safety and reliability.
He said the car has been designed to appeal to customer all over the world and maintain its status as the global best seller. By the introduction of this new vehicle, we reinforce our commitment to provide customers the best and ownership experience, the Managing Director said.
Mr Eric Darko, Executive Director, Toyota Ghana Limited said the new Corolla has a large cargo space for the average Ghanaian. He said it has a power outer mirror with side turn signal lamps, which is double protected against rusting.
He said the 7-space automatic system has an enhance fuel efficiency. He said the front exterior design has been boldly design to appeal to customer delight.
He said the new Corolla has a power train that combines driving with environmental performance and top class safety, reliability and environmental friendliness.
Mrs Joana Bannerman, Group Head, Commercial Banking, Access Bank commended the company for ensuring that customers continue to have the best vehicle experience.
She said the new Corolla had undergone total transformation that would delight customers.
