Executives of oil exploration firm, Tullow, are expected to meet the new government in the next few weeks.

The meeting will focus on the approval of the development plan for the Jubilee Field. The firm is currently awaiting the ruling of the maritime dispute between Ghana and Ivory Coast to inform its next line of action.

Tullow revenue fell around 20% to $1.27 billion despite its TEN oilfields coming on stream in Ghana late last year. Exploration Director at Tullow, Angus Mc Coss said they look forward to the approval of the development plan so Tullow can maintain full production in the Jubilee Field.

“We will be talking to the new government and expect that to have the Jubilee Field development plan approved by the middle of the year so that we can work in our real capacity as required to make sure we can maintain full production in Jubilee Field,” Coss stated.
