Tullow trains 24 HR practitioners

Twenty-four Human Resource practitioners in the country have graduated from the maiden edition of the Human Resource Mentoring Programme organised by Tullow Ghana in partnership with the Institute of Human Resource Management.

The programme, which is a high-impact capacity-building project, is aimed at developing the HR profession by bringing together senior-level HR practitioners in Ghana to nurture a selected number of early HR professionals.

Speaking at the graduation ceremony in Accra, the Human Resource and Business Services Director at Tullow Ghana, Mrs Irene Asare, said: “It is important for us to be able to impact the country, so, we are very keen to develop skills, build competencies and we thought another good place to start will be human capital.”

She charged the first batch of graduates to apply the skills they had gained at the mentoring programme to their organisations.

The next mentoring programme begins in April.
