Universal merchant Bank a leading name in the banking sector has unveiled its newest brand onto the financial market, UMB Capital yesterday in Accra at its branch off Kanda high way.
The fundamental reasons for setting up Universal Merchant Capital was to provide management and consultancy services. It currently oversees the operation of UMB investment holdings limited, UMB stockbrokers limited, strategic Debt Solutions limited and Merban properties limited which before were subsidiaries of Universal Merchant Bank Limited.
The core objective of UMB Capital although new to the financial market, is to continuously create and deliver superior value through the provision of innovative and diverse investment financial management solutions that exceed the expectations of our stakeholders.
Speaking at the launch was the board chairperson of UMB Capital, Grace Amey-Obeng. She asserted that the newly established financial company has a lot to offer to its clients and the general public.
"We have listened to our clients, we have improved upon our past performance and we are ready to take the opportunities that tomorrow bring. In the coming months we seek to unveil products that will meet the meet the needs of our clients in every convenient way. We intend to deliver superior value service through the provision of innovative and financial management solutions that exceed the expectations of our stakeholders". She said.
She also added that as a financial institution, UMB Capital's key interest will lie in its customers and will work round the clock to deliver effective service programs. Mrs. Grace Amey-Obeng finally concluded that innovation will be the company's hallmark.
