US-Based Ghanaian Donates To Atebubu Sec Sch

Atebubu (B/A), Aug. 12, - A U.S. based Ghanaian, Mr Alex Billy Acheampong, yesterday presented sports equipment valued at 682,000 cedis to Atebubu secondary school (ATESCO) at a ceremony at Atebubu. The items, made up of a set of jersey and volleyballs, were received by the headmaster of the school, Mr John Wilson Asamoah. Mr Acheampong said the gesture was his widow's mite towards the promotion and development of sports in the school. Mr Acheampong who is an old boy, promised to mobilise all old students based in the States and Canada to contribute meaningfully towards the development of the school.
