The Executive Vice President Yaw Nsarkoh Unilever Ghana/Nigeria and Managing Director of Unilever Ghana, Yeo Ziobeieton, have paid a courtesy call on the Chief Executive Officer of the Business and Financial Times (B&FT), Mrs. Edith Dankwa, as part of moves by the consumer goods manufacturer’s bosses to familiarise themselves with key market stakeholders.
Mr. Nsarkoh, who was appointed in January, said the visit was to afford Unilever the opportunity to interact with stakeholders who have contributed significantly to their growth.
Mr. Nsarkoh said news media organisations, like the Business and Financial Times (B&FT), need commendation in the coverage and support of the operations of Unilever Ghana.
Mr. Ziobeieton who accompanied the company’s Executive Vice President, Yaw Nsarkoh, said despite previous engagements with the B&FT there exist potential for deepening the relationship between the two organisations.
Receiving the delegation from Unilever, CEO of B&FT, Mrs. Dankwa said the vision of the company is to see the growth of the economy and businesses.
She said Unilever can always count on the support of the B&FT Newspaper and all its affiliates which include: the BT Magazine, Energy Today, online portal-www.thebftonline.com, and a TV programme.
The meeting was also attended by Managing Editor of the B&FT, William S. Adjadogo and Business Development Manager, B&FT, Nicholas Quarmyne and Henry H. Malm, Corporate Affairs Manager, Unilever Ghana.
