Unilever holds 2012 annual stakeholders' dinner

Accra , Jan 18, GNA - Unilever Ghana will soon inaugurate a one million euro Combined Heat and Power (CHP) generation plant which operates on gas to facilitate cleaner production. Mr David Mureithi, Managing Director of Unilever West Africa announced this at the company's Annual Dinner with key stakeholders in Accra. He acknowledged the company's key business partners and contacts whose varied contributions facilitated good business activities last year. Mr Mureithi said because 2011 was the first year of the creation of Unilever West Africa headed by Unilever Ghana, the company was faced with the challenge of a smooth take-off. He pointed out that the global economic crises had their toll on Ghana and, consequently, Ghanaian industry including Unilever.
