Last year, we won the award for promoting the health and safety of people which shows our commitment to satisfy the people we serve. Supply Chain Management in Vodafone is maturing; our emphasis is now on ethical sourcing and sustainability which is again centered on people. We hope to come back next year with the news that we won that category as well.’
Speaking about the award, Carmen Bruce-Annan, Head of Corporate Communications at Vodafone Ghana said “The Healthline initiative is a concept developed by Vodafone and it required a cross functional team across the business working together to ensure its successful execution. I’m very excited that the procurement function has received international recognition for their contribution to the project. The success of Healthline can attributed to the hard work of functions such as our Supply Chain team and we’re proud of them.’ Vodafone’s Healthline TV and radio show uses a panel of qualified doctors to answer health questions submitted by members of the public.
