The Telecoms company is also donating a total of GHS15,000 to the Hajj Board together with other gift items to make this year’s pilgrimage a very enjoyable experience.
Announcing the package, Angela Mensah-Poku, Director of Enterprise Business at Vodafone Ghana said:
“We understand the challenges travellers go through during this time; especially in connecting with each other. Our Roaming package is in line with our status as the most preferred network for all Hajj pilgrims in Ghana. Vodafone has continued to partner and support the Muslim community in recent years in diverse ways and we are all too happy for this relationship to continue. This year’s package is special as it coincides with our Ten Year Anniversary celebration in Ghana. We want pilgrims to have a good Hajj, whilst staying in touch with friends and family in Ghana.”
Under the arrangement, pilgrims only need to carry along their Vodafone SIM cards when departing for Saudi Arabia to enjoy seamless connectivity and enhanced network experience throughout their stay.
