Vodafone Ghana has partnered Coca- Cola’s National consumer promotion to reward customers with free 100MB data.
The promotion, dubbed, “Under the Crown’ is in line with the Coke Studio Africa 2017 campaign.
The rewards that will be given out to customers include exclusive content in the form of Caller Ring Back Tones, wallpapers of consumers’ favourite Coke Studio Africa artistes and music playlists.
The promotion rewards consumers who buy Coca-Cola with the special yellow crown cork.
This partnership rests on music as common grounds for both companies.
Commenting on the initiative, Agnes Emefa Essah, Sales and Marketing Director at Vodafone Ghana said, “We are rewarding our customers, promoting authentic African music and celebrating creativity in the arts.”
According to her, Vodafone’s partnership with Coca-Cola is “a huge stroke of inspiration that will bring many benefits to our customers and we are extremely excited.”
Vodafone’s contribution to the Ghanaian music industry cannot be overemphasized.
The telecommunications giant has delivered matchless music and entertainment experiences to Ghanaians since 2011 by creating a number of innovative music platforms including Vodafone Icons and the Ghana Music Awards.
Waithera Kabiru, Digital Marketing Manager at Coca-Cola Central, East and West Africa, acknowledged that,“music has always been the heart and soul of Africa” adding that, “through this partnership with Vodafone Ghana, we[Coca-Cola] are igniting a lot of connections across the continent and there’s more to come.”
To receive the free 100MB data, Vodafone consumers must first look under the crown cork for a code, dial *781# and follow the prompts to redeem the rewards
Coca-Cola, through its flagship musical show, Coke Studio Africa 2017 which airs on TV3, is a melting pot of music talent bringing together renowned music producers and top-notch artists drawn from various parts of the continent.
It also gives upcoming artistes the opportunity to work with some of the best local and international music and production talent.
