Officials from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) have engaged Ghana’s Minority Caucus in Parliament in a high-level meeting aimed at exchanging views on the country’s recent economic trajectory.

In a statement issued on Monday, March 16, 2026, the Caucus described the interaction as constructive and mutually beneficial, noting that both sides demonstrated a shared interest in promoting prudent economic management and strong governance.

The meeting, initiated at the request of the Minority, provided an opportunity for lawmakers to present their perspectives and raise concerns directly with the IMF on key issues influencing Ghana’s economic stability and growth.
