World Economic Forum introduces "The Accra Discourse"

The Global Shapers Accra Hub, an initiative of the World Economic Forum, has announced the launch of its latest project, The Accra Discourse.

This is a series of monthly conversations about the future of entrepreneurship, leadership and change in Ghana.

Each month will feature insightful conversations bringing together leading Ghanaian change makers from various industries. According the the curator of the Global Shapers Accra Hub, Fred Deegbe, "the Accra Discourse is a platform to network and discover and introduce new ideas in Ghana.

"We believe that young change leaders and entrepreneurs in Ghana have a powerful role to play in shaping the future of this country. With the Accra Discourse, we are looking to steer conversations that will generate new ideas and perspectives for moving Ghana along the right course."

The launch event of the Accra Discourse is scheduled for Monday January 13, 2013 at 6.30pm at the La Villa Boutique Hotel in Osu.

The speaker, Ruben Atekpe, Chairman of Mecowa Group will lead a conversation around building an African business franchise. This event is open to the public.

The Global Shapers Accra Hub is an initiative of the World Economic Forum. The Accra Discourse is supported by the Google Business Group, La Villa Boutique Hotel and the MPWR show.
