Zenith Bank launches 10th anniversary celebrations

Management of Zenith Bank (Ghana) Limited has launched its 10th anniversary celebration of its operation in Ghana.

The celebration is on the theme: "Zenith at 10, You are the Reason" will be climaxed on September, 2015.

Mr Daniel Asiedu, Managing Director, Zenith Bank, speaking during a health walk to launch the anniversary in Accra said after three years of the Bank's operation, it was adjudged the Bank of the Year at the Ghana Banking Awards, 2008.

"An achievement which was the first of its kind since the inception of the awards," he said.

He said the bank had always believed that it was important to be innovative in its collaborations not only to differentiate themselves but to add significant value to their customers and the society.

He said in the area of electronic products and services, the Bank had developed products such as Z-web acquiring, global travel wallet and many others.

He said the Bank had over the years forged strategic partnership in the public and private sectors to promote the development of the economy.

"The brand has also grown from strength to strength and last year, we won notable awards such as Best Bank in customer care and first runner up, best growing Bank and then Bank of the year, 2014.

Mr Aseidu assured customers that the Bank would continue to be innovative and creative in delivering exceptional services to serve them better.

On the health walk, he said, it was to create awareness on healthy living by staff of the Bank and its customers, adding that the Bank valued the health of its staff, partners and customers.

The walk started at the Accra Sports Stadium and went through other major street of Accra.

Mr Edward Doe Adjaho, the Speaker of Parliament, some MPs and staffs of Parliament participated.

The 10-kilometre walk saw over 1,000 participants, consisting of staff of Latex Foam, Dannex Limited, among others.
