Accra, Aug. 30, GNA - The main index of the Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE) maintained a steady rise with a 1.49-point gain in trading on Wednesday that saw the main stock index, the GSE All-Share Index going up to 4,912.34 points.
Change for the year also ended better at 3.01 per cent from 2.29 per cent on Tuesday.
Shares traded slipped at 54,400 from 64,500 shares.
There were three price changes - all gains. Aluworks gained 100 cedis at 7,000 cedis; Fan Milk Limited was up by two cedis at 16,017 cedis and ECOBANK Ghana also made two cedis at 11,812 cedis.
Market Capitalisation was up at 97,521.04 billion cedis from 97,516.51 billion cedis.
