Not true. This's a cooked figure. It would have reflected in our xchange rate. How can we record 11.5 billion trade surplus with this week currency? When your fundamentals are weak, the xchange rate will expose you.

You know the figure doesn't make economic sense. A surplus will lead to falling interest rates and a stronger cedi, but the opposite is happening. Ghana must calculate the figure again.
Well I think this figure isn't as useful because we don't know the net foreign transfers. We need to know the capital account balance.
