  I run a small business and i struggle to get customers, i have pleaded severally to get a flat rate tax instead of the 22% Vat+ so that i can at least sell my food at a reasonable rates-likewise accommodation, considering my location. Due to this issue, patronage is badly affected and i am unable to cope since it has a direct impact on my business.
  
  I am actually considering to close down since operating does not make business sense.
  
  Personally i think VAT on general livelihood items such as food, clothen, water, drink and accommodation should be looked into for a better Ghana.

  GHANA IS ENDOWED WITH GOLD, DIAMONDS, CRUDE OIL, NATURAL GAS, LITHIUM, BAUXITE, COCOA, TIMBER, ARABLE AGRICULTURAL LAND, OVER 12" AVERAGE ANNUAL RAINFALL, HIGH WATER TABLE OR AQUIFERS, PLUTONIUM AND URANIUM RESERVES, ETC, SO WHY ALL THESE EXPLOITATIVE TAXES?
  
  WHAT AT ALL IS WRONG WITH GHANA'S SUCCESSIVE LEADERS? CAN'T THEY SEE, THINK, AND KNOW HOW AND WHY OTHER NATIONS ARE PASSIONATELY MODERNIZING AND DEVELOPING THE ECONOMIES AND INFRASTRUCTURE FOR THE COMMON GOOD?
  
  WHAT IS WRONG WITH GHANA'S MOSTLY "EFUOM" UNCIVILIZED EASY-MONEY GRABBING LEADERS?
  
  THE TAX-FREE WEALTHY GULF ARAB STATES OF QATAR, THE UAE, SAUDI ARABIA, BAHRAIN, KUWAIT AND OMAN ARE TYPICAL EXAMPLES. THEY ARE ALL FAR AHEAD OF BANKRUPT GHANA. WHY? IT'S BECAUSE OF THE DECADES OF ENDEMIC LEADERSHIP CORRUPTION AMONG GHANA'S ENTIRE LEADERS AND GHANA'S FOREIGN MISSIONS.
  
  THE ABOVE TAX-FREE WEALTHY GULF ARAB STATES ONLY HAVE CRUDE OIL AND NATURAL GAS AS THEIR ONLY PRIMARY EXPORT PRUDUCTS, YET THEY ARE FAR AHEAD OF BANKRUPT GHANA.
  
  PLUS, IT RAINS "ONCE IN A BLUE MOON" IN THESE DESERT GULF ARAB STATES SO THEY HAVE NO GROUND WATER NEAR THE SURFACE. THEEY HAVE NO INNER RIVERS AND LAKES, SO THEY HAVE NO DAMS AND WATERFALLS BUT THEY NEVER HAVE "DUMSOR" OR SPORADIC ELECTRICITY SUPPLY AND WATER SUPPLY PROBLEMS BECAUSE THEY PUMP SALTWATER FROM THE GULF, DESALINATE, TREAT AND FEED IT THROUGH A NETWORK OF PIPES. THEY ALSO HAVE MASSIVE PHOTOVOLTAIC PANEL SMART TECHNOLOGIES FOR GENERATING ELECTRICITY DESPITE THEIR MASSIVE CRUDE OIL RESERVES FOR POWERING THERMAL PLANTS AND GENERATORS FOR GENERATING THERMO-ELECTRICITY.
  
  THE WEALTHY TAX-FREE GULF ARABS AIRLINES STRATEGIC BUSINESS UNITS SUCH EMIRATES, SAUDIA, GULF AIR, ETC ARE THE BEST IN THE WORLD, WITH MASSIVE FLEETS OF MODERN WIDE-BODIED AIRCRACT FOR LONG-HAUL FLIGHTS . THE LIST GOES ON AND ON.
  
  MEANWHILE GHANA PLC COULD NOT EVEN MANAGE MINNOWS LIKE GHANA AIRWAYS, GHANA INTERNATIONAL AIRLINES, ETC BECAUSE OF LAZY LEADERSHIP CORRUPTION, CRASS INCOMPETENCE AND INEPTITUDE WITH IMPUNITY. WHAT IS WRONG WITH GHANA'S LEADERS?
  
  THE ENDEMIC CREATE, LOOT, AND SHARE AMONG "CRIME SCENE" BANKRUPT GHANA LEADERS AND IT'S FOREIGN MISSIONS ARE WAY OVER THE TOP, SO EVERY GHANAIAN IS SUFFERING THE CONSEQUENCIES OF ENDEMIC GHANA LEADERSHIP INEPTITUDE AND THIEVERY.
  
  GHANA'S SUCCESSIVE LEADERS SIMPLY HAVE NO DIRECTION, AND THEY CERTAINLY ARE NOT PURPOSE-DRIVEN. THE CYCLE OF LEADERSHIP THIEVERY OF GHANA PLC WITH IMPUNITY IS BREADTHTAKING AND MIND-BOGGLING. THIS DASTARDLY PRACTICE WILL NEVER END IF DRACONIAN POLICIES AGAINST OFFICIAL CRIMES AND STATE LOOTING ARE NOT PUT IN PLACE ACROSS GHANA AND ITS FOREIGN MISSIONS.
  
  THESE ARE WHAT OBTAINS IN CHINA'S AND THE TAX-FREE WEALTHY GULF ARAB STATES OF SAUDI ARABIA, QATAR, THE UAE, OMAN, KUWAIT AND BAHRAIN, AND THAT EXPLAINS WHY THEY HAVE NO BUSINESS WITH THE IMF AND LOANS-LENDING NATIONS.
  
  UNTIL OUR LEADERS CHANGE THEIR WICKED WAYS, GHANA PLC WILL ALWAYS BE MARCHING BACKWARDS.
