When the government keeps the money in itself it will eventually affect the economy. Less spending puts the economy stagnant.
Spread between rates are unbelievable:
BoG primrate- 27%
Inflation rate- 13.6%
91 day rate: 10.83%
Commercial Bank lending rate- 30+%
