  Then bring kenkey to q cedi and cement bag to 27 cedis. If is true that the cedibia stronger, than Ghanaians are paying more for food, materials and services since the value in terms of dollars is now higher. If 1 dollar was 15 cedis and you bought food at 15 xedis you spend 1 dollar. Now if you spend 14 cedisnfor the same for when a dollar is 10.40 cedis, you are spending 1.3 dollars which is higher. Around come again.

  If all the money stays with the government it cripples The economy and the ordinary citizens don’t benefit.

  If all the money stays with the government it cripples The economy and the ordinary citizens don’t benefit.
  The higher interest rate gives the citizens money which will be injected into the economy in many ways.
  It will benefit everyone and the government will get the money back through taxes.
  When money flows into the system it enhances the economy and the people, that’s where the people benefit from using the money to buy, work and increase wealth in economy.
